The Hands on Kubernetes Workshop is a practical introducion to the Kubernetes contianer platform. Kubernetes is an open-source system for automating deployment, scaling, and management of containerized applications bult upon Google's experience running containers on a large scale. Through the workshop the participant will become familiar with creating, running, managing, and updating applications on Kubernetes. Experience with Docker is not required to benefit the workshop.

The workshop starts with deploying a typical monolith application, then we'll add a SSL on top of it before we expose the application. We'll then break down the monolith in it's basic components and deploy, and update, them as individual services. This brings out the true power of the Kubernetes platform.
