The Agency for Work and Wellfare (NAV) is a core infrastructure of the Norwegian society. All Norwegians have some relation to NAV and it's often talked about in the media. But when we talk of NAV’s IT-systems what kinds of systems are we really talking about?

In this lightning talk I’ll introduce you to a selection of both new and old systems that live inside NAV. And I’ll try to touch upon their past, present and future. Finally I would like to argue that our society is better served with a more open and informed dialogue about the IT-systems that underpin our everyday lives.
