Go, a language that has the feel of a dynamic language like Python or Ruby, but has the performance and safety of languages like C or Java - Ivo Balbaert.

 

Go, or Golang, is developed by Google and announced in 2009, it's used in many backends and is being continuously improved by the open source community.

 

In this workshop we'll cover the language basics and will build our very own web server that uses cool online APIs like IBM's Watson and Google Vision API.
